Full portfolio entry » Livekite is a social networking site with a Christian group focus (someone joked at one point about calling it “Thyspace” ;P). As a Livekite user, you can have friends, a blog, upload photos, create and join groups and discuss group related topics in your own personal forum. Musicians can sign up as an artist and create events and upload their music then invite users to become “fans” of their group.
Your personal profile can be customized in many different ways through the tools created for customizing the colors and images used in the styles on your profile. The site also employs Ajax to create robust searches for music, groups and other users. The site is based on a LAMP structure and has some elements of Flash which were developed using Actionscript 2.0.

front end can be updated via the CMS.

Full portfolio entry » The most recent iteration before the current portfolio was the 2006 version. Created in the thick of the Web 2.0 craze, the design was heavily stylized along those lines (aka the
hyperweb2.0 version of typeoneerror). The interface was partially liquid (adjusted to fit the size of the browser window) and the code was mostly Actionscript 2.0 based. Version ‘06 contained a portfolio section and a customized moveable type blog. The portfolio section allowed for image, video and swf content so it was nicely scaleable as well.
